Finding your true strength is difficult when all hell seems to be breaking loose towards you. But today I want you to hold to something tougher than yourself.

Everyone is strong and everyone is weak. But the question is, in what?

There are many things you can lay hold of and certainly say, ‘this caused my predicament’ or ‘that is what has made me who I am today.’ No one might dispute that fact but I would love to ask, ‘are you made by your strengths or your weaknesses?’

If you choose to be made by your strengths, you will become a hero in life. If however, you choose to be made by your weaknesses, you will eventually become a casualty in life.

Depression is a common scar that struggles to find a resting place in the heart of any person who will give in to its pressure. Sorrow is yet another, but unforgiveness and hatred? They are not just scars, they are deep cuts that only heal when you apply forgiveness and love.

In every war, there is a safe tower. Struggles, difficulties and seemingly impossible situations in life are no exceptions. There is a safe tower and it is the ‘faith to believe.’

I will be untruthful and insincere if I fail to acknowledged that my faith has had a major impact in shaping my life and directing my steps even in dark moments. It has helped me over the years win the war within and it remains a key part of my life till date.

The war outside (disappointments, rejection, hatred and failure) is less brutal than the war inside (the battle in our mind, thoughts and over our emotions).

If you can win over yourself, over depression and heal over the scars within, you are more likely to win the war outside, over situations that strike hard and over the spear of challenges that pierce tough.

You can stay afloat over the river of doubt, depression and hatefulness of life if you only choose this one strength I speak of, ‘faith to believe.

Dear friend, your weaknesses will be easier to spot and more alluring than your strengths. However, do not lose your stand to the force that will attempt to pull you to negative poles.

Remember the final choice lies with you. The choice to faint or to trust that divine strength can pull you over and beyond to the point you can truly have peace, stability, bliss and fulfillment.

Your quest for peace is attainable but you do not have to quit now or later. Stand tall and invest in the right possibilities.

Remember, everyone is weak and everyone is strong. For you, would you rather be known for your strengths or your weaknesses?

…. stand tall and be strong dear! Keep you head above every water.
